Whoa! Looks like someone's been a slacker. Who in the world could that be? Oh yah. Me. Haven't written since like NOVEMBER! :O Well, don't worry, I'll put myself in timeout when I get the time. In this blog, I don't plan on quote "reviewing" anything unquote. (Are you supposed to do that in writing? Ah, who cares) Anywho, life's gone on, as well as school and HIGH SCHOOL AUDITIONS! *GASP* That's right, the four year span of your life you spend "finding yourself". Last time I checked, I wasn't lost, but oh well.... So I've applied to 3 magnet art schools. I personally want to go to one called D.A.S.H or Design and Architecture Senior High the most, for fashion.... <3 Yah so, I get my results mid-march. Pray for me! I've also been rediscovering my art side more, experimenting with different mediums, and going back to what made me fall in love with art, designing. It's gone well so far.
OK, I know I said I wouldn't review anything, but as I'm sitting in my room, typing this up I've just seen about 3 commercials that are just.... wow. Some are just plain weird, others are funny, and others, well, if I remade the commercial, could become hilarious.
1. The new Miller Light (beer) commercial. If you haven't seen it, it goes something like this:: There is a dog, a guy and his girlfriend sitting at a bar outside, and she's going through all these things for him to choose from like his job or her, or his dog or her. He always chooses her. Then she asks, "Would you rather have me or your Miller Light" and he goes "Well, ummmmmmmm" then she storms off. End commercial. REALLY???????? WOW THAT WAS DUMB! And if you choose beer over your girlfriend, well you have a serious problem. Like you need to go see someone.... :/
2. The new Olive Garden commercial. This is a commercial that I think could become hilarious if I redid it. This is how it really goes. There is a grandpa and a college (presumably) kid and the kid is buying the grandpa dinner. Then the grandpa is just like "I'll just have a little something" so it doesn't cost the kid to much, but he's all like, "No whatever you want grandpa," then it goes into how cheap this one pasta is. the commercial ends as the grandpa says "Where did you learn to be so generous?" and the kid answers "I guess it runs in the family," smiles and CUT. Now, that's all nice and all, but if I remade it, I would make it be the same except at the end, the kid would go "What are you talking about grandpa? I don't have any money..." that would be extremely funny.
3. The last one I know everybody has seen. It was played originally in the superbowl this year, and you guessed it. The dorritos commercial. If you haven't seen it, youtube it. It's hilarious. Nuff said.
So, I know this has been a really long post, and hopefully not to painful for you!
